Russian Emperor Nicholas II (1894-1917) was a direct executioner of the Armenian people on an equal footing with the Turkish authorities. During the Armenian pogroms of 1894-1896, the Russian emperor declared his personal support to the Turkish Sultan Abdul Hamid.

Russian diplomacy called ′′ Part of the international revolution to be suppressed at the very beginning ". And Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lobanov-Rostov (creator of the concept ′′ Armenia without Armenians ′′) instructed the Sultan: ′′ Shoot out, Your Majesty, exterminate ".

During the reign of Nicholas II, many Armenian schools were closed, and Armenian figures were persecuted. In June 1903, a law was adopted on confiscation of assets of the Armenian church.

In 1905, Armenian persecutions from Tatars were artificially triggered in Nicholas II. It was under Nicholas II in summer 1915 that the Russian army retreated from Vilayet Van without any explanation, condemning the remaining Armenian population there.

After 100 years, nothing has changed. The same naive-tolerant Armenians, the same anti-Armenian Russia.
